IDE Ghana actively empowers local communities to restore and protect forests and biodiversity, placing these efforts at the heart of our work to promote sustainable development. Through a multi-faceted approach, we educate and equip local actors with the necessary tools and knowledge to restore forests and conserve biodiversity. Our programs emphasize the critical role forests play in providing essential ecosystem services, such as water purification, carbon sequestration, and enhancing soil fertility— all of which are vital for community resilience and livelihoods.
