Dr. (Med) Jethro Asare Brobbey
Dr. (Med) Jethro Asare Brobbey is a dedicated medical doctor with a passion for integrating healthcare, ecology, and sustainability. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree from the University of Cape Coast and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). His academic background underpins his innovative approach to addressing the interconnected challenges of public health and environmental sustainability.
Currently serving as the District Health Director for Assin North District in the Central Region of Ghana, Dr. Brobbey oversees the implementation of Ghana Health Service policies. His leadership has contributed to improved healthcare delivery and strengthened the district’s health systems, ensuring that community needs are met through effective administration and policy management.
Dr. Brobbey is deeply committed to quality healthcare delivery, recognizing its critical link to ecological agility and sustainability. He advocates for health policies that integrate environmental conservation, emphasizing the importance of balancing human health with ecological resilience to ensure long-term community well-being.
In addition to his professional duties, Dr. Brobbey is a passionate advocate for youth empowerment, education, and sustainable development. He actively champions initiatives that equip young people with the tools to contribute to environmental stewardship and community resilience, reflecting his holistic vision for building thriving, sustainable societies.
