Albert Baah Essuman

Albert Baah Essuman is a seasoned social entrepreneur and the co-founder of IDE: Initiative for Development and Education. With over 12 years of multi-faceted experience in sustainable development and business management, his expertise spans sustainable landscape management (SLM); community development; monitoring, evaluation, reporting and shared learning (MERL); business development; and development communication. He is deeply committed to advancing education and community development, as well as addressing environmental and climate change issues.

Albert has extensive experience in natural resources and environmental management, having developed land use plans and environmental regulations for over six districts across the Central, Eastern, and Western Regions of Ghana. 

His career includes significant roles with organizations such as EcoCare Ghana, AlphaRoyal Publications Limited of The Methodist 

Church Ghana (Conference Office), Bojo Beach Resort, and Nabaahni CSE Company Limited where he has provided consultancy and leadership in various capacities.

Passionate about project management, monitoring, evaluation, reporting and shared learning, Albert excels in creating and implementing comprehensive monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks. His technical expertise includes developing key performance indicators, metrics, and remedial strategies to ensure project success and sustainability. His skills in data and trend analysis, strategic planning, and communications make him a valuable asset to any organization.

Albert holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Cape Coast, and a Higher National Diploma in Marketing from Takoradi Technical University. Additionally, he has a Certificate in Graphic and Web Design from the Cliftech Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing a Master of Philosophy in Communication and Media Studies at the University of Education, Winneba.
