Dorothy Antwi Boasiako
Dorothy Antwi Boasiako is a dynamic academic researcher and an expert in gender mainstreaming, with a strong focus on education, youth development, climate change, and gender inclusion as drivers of sustainable development. Currently pursuing a PhD in African Studies at the University of Copenhagen, she holds a Master’s degree in African Studies from the same institution, as well as a Master of Arts in Literature in English and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Sociology from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.
An experienced educator, Dorothy serves as a Learning Support and EAL Teacher at Viking International School in Denmark. She previously taught at the prestigious Wesley Girls’ Senior High School in Cape Coast, Ghana, and was a Teaching Assistant at the University of Copenhagen. Her teaching career has provided her with a deep understanding of youth empowerment and education.
Dorothy’s expertise extends to climate change studies, where she has contributed to research on environmental sustainability in Ghana. This background informs her current role at IDE Ghana, where she plays a key role in strengthening communication and international partnerships.
As a passionate Inclusion Analyst, Dorothy focuses on capacity building and gender mainstreaming, working to promote equality and resilience in communities. Her mentorship and leadership help young people unlock their potential, particularly in education and social change.
Dorothy’s ability to forge strong partnerships and drive inclusive development is essential to advancing IDE Ghana’s mission of creating a sustainable and equitable future.
